Aralam Wildlife Sanctuary

Aralam Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the important tourist destinations of the Northern Kerala. The sanctuary is located at a distance of 50 Km from Thalassery and 66 Km from Kannur. Aralam Wildlife Sanctuary was established in the year 1984. It is located in the northernmost protected area of Kerala.

Peechi Vazhani Wildlife Sanctuary

Peechi Vazhani Wildlife Sanctuary is located in Thrissur district. This Wildlife Sanctuary is regarded as the second oldest wildlife sanctuaries of Kerala. It was established in the year 1958. The Sanctuary has a large variety of forests, including Moist Deciduous Forest, Evergreen forests and Semi-evergreen forests.

Peppara Wildlife Sanctuary

Peppara Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the important wildlife sanctuaries of Kerala and it is located at a distance of 42 Km North-East of Thiruvananthapuram. The Wildlife Sanctuary was formed in the 1983.

Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary

Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is situated on the banks of the Periyar lake - an artificial lake, at Thekkady. The sanctuary is a real gift of the nature to the humans. The luxurious artificial lake formed by Mullaperiyar Dam across the Periyar River enhances the charm of this park.

Shenduruny Wildlife Sanctuary

Shenduruny Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the important wildlife sanctuaries of Kerala located at a distance of 63 Km from Kollam. This was declared as Wildlife Sanctuary in the year 25-Aug-1984.

Silent Valley National Park

Silent Valley National Park is located at a distance of 40 Km from Mannarkad in northeastern corner of Palakkad district. The Silent Valley National Park is probably one of the most wonderful contributions of nature to humans. The Park is commonly known as Sairndhrivanam in India.
