The Natural History Museum at Thiruvananthapuram was started in the year 1885 but modern two storied building in which it is presently housed was constructed only in 1964.
The large building of Natural History Museum houses a variety of rich collection of ethnographic items. Animal Skeletons, Stuffed Animals as well as Birds form part of this exhibit.
